I doubt that you will loose marks for turning off inverse ARP as long as
you are not TOLD not to disable it. If you are told to do something a
certain way and you don not, you will loose points, if you are
explicitly told not to do something and you go ahead and do it, you will
loose points. trust me.

I will not say whether you can turn off inverse arp or not. When in
doubt, ask the proctor. If not explicitly told to do something, go
ahead and ask if you should or if it is allowed. Do not ask how to do
something (eg, how do I turn off inverse ARP) do ask am I allowed to
turn it off (as long as the instructions do not say do not turn it off)?

Obviously if you are leaning against a clearly stated instruction, then
you may get a cold reception from the proctor.
