hi,
if a catlyst 5000 configured with sl0 interface , and slip attached,
and not configured with int sc0, and snmp disable. (telnet is not permitted)
, without erase the config file , anybody can crack the pass?
you can only control the cat 5000 with a control line, that is a
condition, of course the slip0 's address is not known.
any idea will be helpful.
thanks in advance.
because i have no cat 5000 to use , so i have some question to be
confirmed.
1 i think to change the control baud , use the command " set system
baud", according to the ios docu , it can support 600, 1200, 2400, 4800,
9600, 19200, 38400. so if the system control baud has been changed to xxxx,
so in order to control the cat 5000, i must use the same baud in my
hptertermnial, right? also the xxxx baud.
but the rom monitor command, say it can support 1200-115200 buad , i
am now confused.
i check the command "confreg" in rommon, it can do that. i think the 11-12
bit is the baud bit, it has only 4 type, how so many?
