IP Precedence

I have configured a route-map to assign a precedence of 5 to tfc from
137.20.3.0 to host at 150.100.1.253 AT R3

137.20.3.0 ---R3----------R7---------R4---------150.100.1.253

I have confirmed the ip precedence value with a sniffer - but I have
found that the ip precedence is assigned to the replies coming back as
well even though no route-map exists at R4.

How does this work?
