I īve never seen ISDN CIM, but based on the LAN Switching contents, I woul
d
recommend the CIM products only to people that donīt have LAN switching
experience... Iīve taken a look on the LAN Switching CD a few weeks ago, and I
think the study sessions can be very helpful. Iīve already recommended it to
some people here in the company with little LAN Switching experience for them t
o
improve these skills, and they gave me some good feedback... It focus on lots o
f
basic and important topics and the explanation is clear...
I agree with Howard about the lab simulation part of CIM...They are not
very good for hands-on testing...
Best rgds..

The Cisco ISDN CIM, is nice if you are just starting, but to study for the
lab forget it, save the money. The CIM also has some major problems. If you
dont type the IOS commands in just right it wont work, even then sometimes
it wont work. The CIM also only has a few labs that can be done, and none of
them are close to what you may see on the lab.

Can anyone provide me with the name/brand of a device that will emulate an
ISDN switch. The ballpark cost for the device would also be appreciated.
Thanks..
