Hey, I have done MUCHO ncp gens in my time!!! AT all hours of the day
and night. I'm copyingmy buddy from my old job on this cause he'll get a
laugh.
Coverted a whole legacy network of 3725's and 3745's, 3174's, and high
speed printers from running over t-1's to running over a Cisco backbone.
Have you tried a remote NCP load over a DLSW link yet? Dual CIPS
replaced tyhe 3745 at the main site, but had lots of legacy stuff out in the
field. Did Bisycn ovver BSTUN, Barr Systems for the printers, on and on.
Once I get my CCIE I hope to make a living standing bewteen the two
worlds. Lots of folks know Cisco, and there are a few who know SNA/VTAM, but
not many who know both.
Unfortunately, I had to leave that job because they would not let me do
a whole lot of Cisco because I was doing all the SNA/VTAM and I need to do
both. Its amazing how short sighted some company's/managers are.
Anyway, if I can be of any help, letme know!
