Title: RE: Another CCIE
Hi Tom,
All I can say that you need to practise a lot, it would help to try
various senarios and you have to be 100% comfortable to configure any
senario with your eyes closed. I believe that you have more than
enough time to do the configurations, the troubleshooting is another
story.
Someone on this group said that you have to believe that you are an
expert before you go for the exam, that is true, but that only comes
with a lot of practise, I spent about two months going over various
senarios over and over again, everytime I did them I learnt something
new, do not think that when you have completed one senario that you
know it.
Good luck !
Ken

Congratulations!!! I'm appearing for the lab late December. Can you
give me some pointers on what's the best way to prepare for this
thing?
Thanks,
Tom

Gentleman,
I am pleased to announce that I have passed the CCIE lab in
Johannesburg !
It was a very interesting experience and I can recommend it to
anyone.
All my hard work (practise) and lots of study finally paid off. !
The satisfaction of passing is worth it all !
