2nd attempt at RTP, making progress (I think)

Just got back home from my second attempt at RTP. Made it to day
2 this time, but not to troubleshooting. Got bounced after lunch. Me
and one other guy from day 1 both got bounced. No one in
troubleshooting today. Also, the procotor was WAY KEWLL.
I'm trying to put the best face on this. I guess that
I progressed further is good news. I slept terrible Tuesday night from
nerves, and only got 4 hours sleep. That I was able to get enough
points to make day 2 is a miracle!
However, I didn't have enough points to give me any cushion on Day
   2. But I don't think that would have mattered. The bottom line is that
I still don't understand enough topics in enough detail to
pass. Period. I will pass when I do.
Also, the degree of pressure one experiences, while always there
for all of us, is directly proportioanal to how well you understand
the material and how comfortable you are with it.
I'll get better and I will pass eventually. I have Earl and Derek
   for inspiration.
There was a another candidate there whom posts here but I forgot
his name. Anyway, if you read this, please e-mail me directly. I
wanted to speak with you before you left this morning but had to get
   busy.
The really bad news is that I called to schedule my next attempt
on my way home (does the word obsessed come to mind?) and got a date
for 2/1!!!!!! I am getting close to passing I feel, and 4 months is
gonna kill me! A month or 2 maybe, but 4 months? I'm on the waiting
list for evreywhere, and if anyone feels they are not ready when their
time comes (I'm talking about the lab, not the Grim Reaper!) in the
next few months, keep ole Johnny C in mind.
Okay, I'm taking a few days off and am going to treat the wife
like a person. I also have to go to Telecordia and learn BPX and then
MGX next month. Not exactly routing and switching. Well not routing,
and not switching in the CCIE R/S sense. I guess thats good, but have
to fit studying in as well.
I'm rambling, but wanted to share with use guys who can relate.
Remember, there is an IOS command for EVREYTHING! The truth is out
there, and its in the Cisco IOS! I'm gettng out there at this point
too so I'll end. Bud time. Later.
