I have a question along the lines of redistributing ospf into igrp. I know
you must use the summary-address command or area X range command to make the
subnet masks appear to be the same for IGRP. That works fine when the OSPF
mask is smaller than the IGRP mask (ospf network is /30 and igrp is /24, use
a summary-address statement that advertises that network as a /24).
I was running into some problems when using a larger mask in ospf and
advertising it into igrp. For instance if you have a /22 mask on a ospf
network and you have a /24 on igrp. if you advertise the /22 as a /24 it
will send it to the bit bucket. Anyone with an answer or an idea. I did
route to null and redistributed my static routes into igrp, that worked
fine, but in my aset practice lab it said not to use routes to null.
Thanks.
