Thanks to all who responded. Apparently I was not clear enough. Here is
what I did:

In config mode I did

int fast 0/1.1

In sub interface mode I did e? and all I saw was exit.

What I asked was did anyone on the list successfully configured inter
vlan routing on a 3600 series router as I was unable to find information
in the documentation relating to a 3600 router.

I am aware that 7xxx router supports inter vlan routing in fast/gig
interfaces.

Is there someone out there who was able to do it on a 3600 series
router?
