igmp vs. cgmp

Can someone give me a brief overview regarding the different functionality
of the following commands on the switch?

I know that both Cisco group management protocol and Internet group
management protocol enable and assist the switch with join messages to the
multicast routing protocol on the router, but how do they differ?
        'set cgmp enable'
        'set igmp enable'
