Can't change atm addr of LEC on 4700

Have the following cfg...

interface ATM0
no ip address
atm pvc 1 0 5 qsaal
atm pvc 2 0 16 ilmi
atm esi-address 000088888888.00

lane client ethernet ccie
bridge-group 1

Yet LEC still uses its default address...

Am I using this cmd correctly, or do I have to use the 'lane
client-atm-address' cmd instead?
