1600's and 1000's do NOT support BGP, but I am pretty sure they do IGRP. There
is a matrix in the Cisco sales guide that shows what protocols are supported.
I don't have it in front of me, but I ran into this a while back and found thi
s out. It may be on the CD under sales stuff - try this: http://127.0.0.1:8080

1600...) did not support BGP or IGRP. I know for sure that my 804 with 12.1
doesn't have it, and I never tried to run BGP in any 1600's. There's a matrix
deep in Cisco's web site that shows what's available by product line and
version.

Hi
Yes, you will need an advanced (e.g. enterprise+) image. I can not say for
sure, so you will have to do the research if a advanced image on a 1600 will
even support BGP.
