do a show lane default and see the addresses there ...They would normally
grab the prefix from the switch when u do the lane config auto-config stuff
but if ur specifying a LECS address locally on the major interface then u
gotta let the lane client know where the LECS is, using the lane
config-atm-address ..This would be the same address if u configured when u
did lane config config-atm-address on the major interface.
after all this is done ..run debug lane client events and then shut down and
restart the interface ..U would see the lane client operational..If it still
doesn't work pls send the following :
1. sh lane default
2. ur atm related config
3. debug lane client ?
Good luck.
Cheers,Padhu

Matt, you need to specify the LECS also. The LECS tells any clients
who
there respective LES/BUS is from its database. You can have the switch
announce the LECS either with a "well know address" or with an address
you
configure. Or tell the client explicitly where the LECS is, which is
what
you want to do.
"lane global-lecs-address address" is the command I believe.
