Aaron,
If memory serves me, a type 7 is a NetWare printer on a NetWare server, a
type 0x47 is an HP print server. For lab or real-life purposes, filter
whatever is there that you are asked to filter. You can see what is there
by a SHO IPX SERVERS, and decide from there how to filter. The lab is
pretty explicit about what you need to filter, but do know how to do it
different ways (i.e. allow all except X or permit only X). HTH,
David
(RTP lab 10/2)

Subject: IPX printer sap types
A point I have always been confused on-any ideas
IPX print servers have 2 sap types
0x7-Print Server
0x47-advertising print server-
per pg 501-caslow
What is the difference? When asked to filter print servers, which should be
filtered?
thanks
