Hi Vijay,
     We use basic-net3 in Aust. No SPIDs are required. When you do a debug
q921, you'll see things like the TEI being assigned and then lots of RR's
and UA's between the switch and router. Q931 shows the connection of a call
proceeding. That is, the number dialled, messages from the switch about the
other end, service types, calling ID etc. Hope this helps.

Hi FOlks,
           QUick question. When using a switch configured for basic-net3
switch-type (european style) I wouldn't need to configure spids right
?
If so what do debugs on q931 nad q921 provide ? Any thoughts on this ?
