I found the same information at the URL listed below.
Written Exam Expiry
Candidates must attempt the CCIE Lab exam within one year of passing the
CCIE Qualification exam. As long as a candidate attempts the CCIE Lab at
least once every 12 months, the candidate may take up to three years to pass
the Lab Exam. However, if a candidate has not passed the CCIE Lab exam
within three years of passing the written exam, he or she must retake the
CCIE Qualification exam before the candidate will be allowed to schedule the
Lab exam again.

I remember have taken this from the FAQ on Cisco Page like a month ago:
"Candidates must attempt the CCIE LAB exam within one year of passing the
CCIE
Qualification exam. As long as a candidate attempts the CCIE LAB at least
once
every year, the candidate may take up to three years of passing the written
exam. "
The thing is that I look for it again in the page and it is not there. I do
not
know if it have changed.

Subject: CCIE lab pre-test
Hi to the group.
I have passed the CCIE written test on two occasions before sitting ( and
failing ) the lab test.
Do I need to re-sit the written before I can re-sit the lab test ?
TIA
