Hi everyone,
I am very happy to write this email after accomplishing my CCIE
certification. Yes I was awarded CCIE 6083 at RTP on Monday 8/7/00 on
my Second attempt. (hmm...) I always wished to achieve this goal on my
first attempt but luck was not with me and even I think I wasn't well
prepared in all respect that time. So in one way it happened for good
as I think now I did learned a lot and was well prepared after my
first attempt. I had a good experience on first attempt.Though I
reached to troubleshooting with breeze, I was not fully prepared in
this area with time constraint and pressure. But this time I was
smiling as I was fixing the net. I would like to thank everyone on
this group for their questions and responses. This group has really
helped me in understanding the intricacies of the cisco routers. When
I finished my written last year I was thinking how and where to start
for the lab exam. That is when I heard from a friend about this site
and I joined the list immediately. I also learned about Marc's
cciebootcamp.com from this site. At first I thought the price for
10-11 labs was not reasonable but later after reading many responses
from the CCIEs on his site I decided that I'll invest for the bootcamp
labs and will take my first attempt only when I think I am ready so as
to pass on my first attempt. After 3-4 months of preparation when I
took my first attempt I reached to 2nd day half with ease. Thanks to
Marc's labs, they really helped me in preparing for the lab with
confidence. I was very confident to pass that day but I lost time in
overwhelming troubleshooting. But now I achieved my goal and very
happy about it. I feel it'true, you have to be CCIE before you get
in the lab to be ceritified as CCIE !! I will be around in this
group. It had been really a dedicated preparation for me for last 8
months and now I want to get back to my normal life and pay attention
to my health and catch up lots of pending work. thanks,
Vijay Ayyangar CCIE 6083
