I have a network set up with HSRP and DEC with no
problems. When you implement DEC it changes the
physical MAC address on the port. When you start up
HSRP it creates its own set of virt macs. These will
not conflic and should work with out having to do any
special stuff.

The only time you can get into trouble is if you are
doing port security on the cats. To get this to work
you can tell the interface to use the burned in
address ( interface command) and also tell HSRP to use
the BIA (HSRP command under interface).
