As of version 12.0(7)XE you can use the IOS SLB feature to configure a
virtual server that points to a virtual server farm. As the name implies, it
is an IOS-based feature so you must be running the IOS-based image (or
native image as Joel described). With this image I believe you need an
external Load Director to create the initial flow, after that it is done on
the switch. Version 12.1(1)E, I believe has this function built-in and
doesn't require a LD. An existing non-IOS-based switch can be converted to
IOS-based, Cisco has a very intensive set of procedures for how to do this
on their website. HTH
