Anyone take switch 2.o yet? Should I bother studying ATM and Tag
switching?
I know the BCMLS book inside out and backwards but there is no atm in it at
all?

I do not think so. This is just like you try to connect two phones
with back-to-back RJ-11 cable to "simulate" a PSTN network. Do you
think it will work? :-)
The key concept in all switched networks (cell-switched or packet
switched) is that you need a switch (a DCE device) in between the
end (DTE) devices. In ISDN protocols, there is no TE-to-TE
interface defined. (Review the ISDN protocols' S/T/U interface
definitions and functions.)

Can you connect two BRI or PRI interfaces back to back to simulate ISDN
or connect BRI to PRI directly? I don't have an ISDN simulator but have BRI
and PRI interfaces on my routers
