ospf database refresh when configuring stubby area

       When I change an OSPF area into stubby area by configuring "area x
   stub" on all routers in the area, Sum-ASBR(type4) and AS
   External(type5) don't dispear right now in ospf database by "sh ip os
   da". They will dispear only when their "Age" reach MaxAge 36xx.
   
       but when I change it into a totally stubby area, Sum-Net(type3)
   will dispear right now by "sh ip os da".
   
       Why? And how can I manually eliminate those LSA?
