NAT Overlapping works only if the two end nodes use DNS to resolve
destination addressing.
However, in my particular scenario DNS cannot be used.

Yes it will. That's what is NAT for overlapping addresses. You NAT remote
addresses to different ranges. Search CCO for NAT documents and there is a
good example with configs.
