Hi to all,
I am upgrading some of my home lab 2600s and have a problem. I have bought 3rd
party flash ( which I have had no problems with in the past ) and am trying to
upgrade from 8 to 16mb. As the IOS is on the flash the router comes up in rommo
n mode and I have to do a tftpdnld from a server.
This works OK but I get the following error.
operation terminated due to bad checksum comparison
So I have downloaded a fresh image. checked the byte size and retried and I get
the same error.
Is there something obvious I've missed or is the memory at fault ?
I'm looking for opinions here and all would be gratefully accepted - a definiti
ve solution would also be nice.
Russell
