   This may be glaringly obvious but it looks like you have a typo. Try:
   
   "crypto isakmp policy"
   
   and also specify a policy number i.e. "crypto isakmp policy 10"
   
   Have you tried using cli help i.e. "cryp?"
   
   If the help function doesnt show "crypto" as the option then you dont
   have an IPSec capable IOS.

   I am trying to set up secure tunnel between two routers using IPSec

   56 bit DES_CBC and I am not able to enable IKE on my routers.
   I am running Version 12.0(5)T, I know it is a global configuration
   mode
   command but the IOS doesn't recognize when I type
   crypto iskmp policy
   Any ideas..!!
