Have you tried the config in the docs? (Watch the wrap):

Providing the clocking is the issue. I haven't ever tried the config above,
and I know it only works between routers (can't use a Cat LANE card).

    Tim, you can configure the LECS address explicitly on the client with
the command you used below. However, you still must have a ATM switch of
some sort in bewteen the rotuers so they can communicate. How do the ATM
interfaces on the routers find each other?
    That command is used in the case the switch doesn't announce the LECS
address to the clients.
