A more accurate term would be one-way challenge...for chap, look at the "ppp
authen chap callin", paying particular attention to the "callin"...this will
only challenge the other router if the other router is calling it...
For example, if router 1 is configured with ppp auth chap callin, then if
router 2 calls router 1, both routers will challenge each other. But, if
router 1 calls router 2, router 1 will NOT challenge router 2 (although
router 2 will still challenge router 1).

Subject: One way authentication
Does anyone know where I can find info regarding one way authentication? I
was told it was in the AS5300 docs but I have been unable to find it. Word
is it is on the lab.
Thanks,
Lee
