We have about 40 Channelized T3s and it works very well. We also work with
Ameritech. My best recommendation would be to talk to your Ameritech sales
person or reseller and be sure they understand what you are trying to do.
Otherwise, you just order the T3 from the Telco Central office to your site
with M23 and B3Zs. Then when you order a T1 onto that T3, order it from the
remote side muxed into the T3 at the co, and be sure to give them the
circuit id of the T3 you want it muxed to. If the T1 remote sites are
customers, they will enjoy this config because they will only have to pay
for the T1 span from their site to the CO. You will of course have to pay
for the T3 and you will also have to pay a muxing charge for the privlage of
saving Ameritech copper facilities. :) Let me know if you need config help.

Good Luck!

Is there anything special I need to ask a telco (Ameritech) to do to a DS-3
to deliver to my premise channelized? We want to have 24 of our T-1 sites
come in over the DS-3. Should be very doable with a channelized DS-3,
right?
