you use the aggregate-address [mask]advertise-map in order to allow BGP to
select the routes used to create the AS-SET communities that you have put
into your network design. Then use the attribute-map for your own
troubleshooting. If I have an agregate that is unclear or an AS is
generating the aggregate that it shouldn't, then I use the attribute portion
to pinpoint exactly which router in the AS is generating it. The attribute
-map is a great troubleshooting/debugging tool for BGP. Just remember that
you have to come up with how to organize these maps.
