You know, I actually created a TR loopback by twisting wires together, etc.
But I could only trick my PC into thinking it was plugged into a mau 1 out
of
10 times. I was trying to test out a Token Ring sniffer.

Kevin, I am no expert about Token Ring, but from everything I've read, seen
on this mail site, and seen in the field, there is no equivalent to a
crossover cable in the token ring world.

I would say that your guestion indicates , that you havent understood
the concept of tokenring.
