Can this also be done for IPX RIP as well, does anyone know?

If not, is there any way of increasing the hop count?

An offset-list is used in IP RIP to manipulate the metric that is either
coming in or advertised out of a particular interface.
e.g. increasing the hopcount of a particular route !

It allows you to increase the routing metric for routes that you have
defined by access list or interface - inbound or outbound - dependant on
what you configure it for. The offset value is added to the metric.

The documentation has examples etc.
