Guys can you help me get my head round this. I know it has been asked loads
of time but I'm trying it in the lab and I can't get it to work.
Basically the config I have is as follows;
Eth-----R1 -------- R2 -------- R3----Eth
IGRP-----------------|----------------OSPF
All interface have a 10.0.0.0 address.
I'm trying to get R2 to supply a single default route to R1. I add the ip
default-network command on R2 but it doesn't get to R1.
If I put it on R1 it works but it also automatically adds a static route,
this I feel would not be allowed i n the lab if they say no static routes.
Some of the previous mails said that either side of R2 should be two
different classful addresses, i.e 9.0.0.0 one side and 10.0.0.0 the other
side. This is all very well and good but in the lab you may only get
classful address
How do I get it to work ? Any one got any sample configs ?
