2620 and ISL configs

Hello all..

I was wondering if anyone here has experience in
configuring a 2620 (w/fast E) for ISL routing.

I tried to go to the interface:

interface FastEthernet0/0
ip address x.x.x.x
no shut
encapsulation isl 100

-------------------------------

then I get an error message. I then proceeded to
create a sub-if but still makes no difference..

I looked in the docs and tried the same configs.. no
results.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions?
