Hi
Can anyone enlighten me please.
I'm trying to do Decnet over DDR
bri0----------bri0
(R1)s0-------s0(R2)e0-------e0(R3)s0----s0(R4)
1.2 1.3 1.4 2.1
I try to use ISDN as backup for ethernet link between R2 and R3.
I'm confuse how to use default and floating static for decnet.
I tried specifing a default route at both routers and propagate the static
route but R1 and R4 didn't get the default after ethernet link is down.
Another question comes to my mind is, say if the floating static route is
ok, when the ISDN is being brought up during ethernet fails. DECnet able to
pass thru via floating static. Will at this moment R2 and R3 pass dynamic
routing update to each other during the ISDN link is up?
I try to relate this to IP environment. Cause in IP, I can specify ISDN not
running any dynamic routing protocol and the rest do. But in decnet how can
I do that?
If given this case, how would one configure the DECnet over DDR. Can anyone
please help me on this?
