My own experience suggests that the best way to prepare for the lab is to go
through the configuration guides and set everything up at least once. Work
off of the CD -- not only will you learn how to set everything up, you'll
learn where it is on the CD. Not having to dig around through the CD on
their slow computers will save you time.
