Set-up boot router from the ROM-based IOS.
Then load the new IOS via TFTP.
You can try to compress the IOS image with Unix compress
to fit it into your 4mb flash.

Eugene

Subject: Recovery deleted IOS.
Hi, folks,
I have one router with only 4M Flash runing IOS 11.0. I tried to update the
IOS to 11.2. I connected this router to another one as TFTP server, and
tried to copy it. For IOS 11.2 is a little larger than 4M, the copy failed.
And the original IOS was also deleted.
I just want to recover the deleted IOS in the Flash now. Could anyone
suggest a easy way to recover it?
Thanks very much.
James
