Cable range without a zone in RTMP

Ref Caslow Page 540:

For RTMP routing entries, if no zone is associated
with a cable-range, the cable-range will be removed
from the routing table by default.

Note the "by default" in the above statement. Does
this mean that there is a way to get a cable-range
without associating it with a zone using RTMP ?

I know it is OK for EIGRP to have cable-range without
a zone, but not sure for RTMP.

Say TRUE or FALSE:

Outgoing routing filters can affect GZL filters - TRUE
ZIP reply filters can affect routing updates - TRUE

GZL filter affect routing updates - TRUE or FALSE
Routing update filters affect ZIP replies-TRUE or
FALSE

Any ideas...
