Actually, it looks like address space issues and where address
space is being routed from Cisco. I can get there from Lycos dial-in,
but not from @home cable modem. Different address space. Plus, I can
get somewhat into Cisco's network from @home, just not to the 2511. My
guess is that certain address space is getting blackholed,or routed
elsewhere than back to where its supposed to be once it gets to the
2511 or that segment.
I mailed Jay to see if he can fix it, see where its sending
packets that come from my address space. Meanwhile, I'll use Lycos
free internet dial in and telnet from there.

Subject: help with telnet to ASET
Hey, guys, I need some feedback.
I was at the ASET lab in San Jose this week, and have telnet
access to my rack over the weekend. However, when I try to telnet to
the rack, it fails. I emailed the CCIE who runs the lab for his help,
but I thought maybe someone here had a similar experience. I can't get
it from work or home, so I don't think its an ISP issue.
If I go to a looking glass, I can resolve the address and
tracroute to the site, but from either my home pc or work pc, pings
and traceroutes fail, as does telnet.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
