A couple of weeks ago I was in class and I was asking the group about
the default information originate command in OSPF. I wanted to
originate a default route but did not want it to be advertised to any
other area other than the area from which I originated it. I have put
the scenario in my lab and I have an answer for you.
Many of you speculated that an NSSA area would take care of it. You
were correct. The trick here is to use the area X nssa
default-information-originate command. You cannot use the
default-information-originate command and then make the area an NSSA
area. It wont work. If anyone has another way that they were able to
get it to work, please let me know.
