Setup the physical interface of the router that is going to be the ARP
server
int atm x/x
atm pvc 1 0 5 qsaal
atm pvc 2 0 16 ilmi
atm esi-address 1111.1111.1111.00
shut/no shut the interface to make ilmi start.
do a "show atm ilmi-status"
Cut the prefix and paste it into the clients with "atm arp-server nsap
xx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.1111.1111.1111.00"
Hope this helps
JOE

Subject: ATM NSAP address
Hi all,
When you configure CLIP on a router, how do you find out the nsap
address of the arp-server?
TIA
Nnanna
