Functionally I don't believe there is any difference, both will
perform the same function.
After looking at the Doc CD I think the first one is saying permit
any source and any IPX protocol type and the second is permit any source,
protocol type, all sockets to any destination, protocol type and all
sockets.
The second list is deny unspecified protocol type (in other words
refer to the socket number) from any source/socket to socket 457/any
destination and the second line is any protocol type from any source/socket
to socket 457 on any destination.
