   Yes sub interfaces can be used X25. I am starting on some simple
   configurations to get the bugs out (many since I don't have a
   tremendous X25 exp), but (I believe) you can't have multiple layer 2
   addresses on them. Therefore you have to use maps or a pvc. If anyone
   out there is an X25 guru...
   
   Here is the Cisco config guide that I have been using to study with.
   There weren't any options for x25 address under the subint config
   section, only map and pvc.
   
   Configuring X.25 and LAPB - Subinterfaces
   
   !
   interface Serial0/0
    no ip address
    no ip directed-broadcast
    encapsulation x25
    no ip mroute-cache
    shutdown
   !
   interface Serial0/0.1 multipoint
    ip address 9.1.1.4 255.255.255.240
    no ip directed-broadcast
    no ip mroute-cache
   !
   interface Serial0/0.2 point-to-point
    ip address 10.1.1.4 255.255.255.240
    no ip directed-broadcast
