ATM command difference between 12.0 & 11.3

Hi all

I am studying ATM and never config a real ATM device, I find defferent
commands in IOS12.0 & 11.3 when configuring a PVC

in 11.3
        interface atm 0/1
            ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
            pvc 1 0 5 qsaal
            pvc 2 0 16 ilmi
            pvc 3 0 50
            pvc 4 0 60
            map-group 1
        map-list 1
            ip 1.1.1.1 atm-vc 3 broadcast
            ip 1.1.2.2 atm-vc 4 broadcast

in 12.0
        interface atm 0/1
            pvc 0/5 qsaal
            pvc 0/16 ilmi
            pvc 0/50
                protocol ip 1.1.1.1 broadcast
                exit
            pvc 0/60
                protocal ip 1.1.2.2 broadcast
                exit
!The pvc to ip addr binding is defined here without map-list map-group
command

But when I check the archive of this group for all ATM topic, all of you use
version 11.3 style command, does it mean all atm device use 11.3 or 11.3
commands may be used in 12.0?
