Your config/command looks wrong... host name.

ip host r1 2001 200.200.200.1

" " r2 2002 " "
-----------
line 1 8
      transport input all

----------
term_serv>r1 ---use host name to access router

Read Caswlow's book or the McGraw Hill All in One book on hwo to set up
reverse telnet. If you don't have those books buy them it will save you
lots of time...the CD search tool is worthless on this subject.

Subject: Reverse telnet problem on 2509

Hi,
i am doing reverse telnet from 2509 with connection to 8 other routers.
My
problem is after 3 connections, i cannot access other routers via
reverse
telnet. This what i did :
>From 2509 :
#telnet 200.200.200.1 2001
...access the router, then ctrl-shift-6, then 'x'.
#disconnect 1
repeat the process, but after the 3 connection, problem popped in. Error
message : Remote host refused connection.
Is anyone has similiar experience ? cheers
winston
