Tony, Great job!

I want to add my congratulations to you for not only achieving the
honorable rank, but
also the greatest achievement paid off by your persistency and hard work.
Since I am
on the same track, and all I have realized more and more is it's by no
means an easy
task to get there. What you have done just motivates me so much and proves
that it
is attainable.

Dennis,

Assumption this is for router and switching CCIE.
The hardest part is how to manage your time. Also please make sure you are
very very very good at OSPF, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP4, IP, IPX, AppleTalk,
F/R, ISDN, ATM, Catalyst 5500, Tunnel, Access List, route-map, and voice
over ip and definitely everything else. Hope all you guys can understand
what I am talking about.

Background:
1. I did try many times, it is not easy at all, at least for me. It might
be
easy for some other people.
2. I think I did it by having a very hard work, about 3 years, plus daily
job and 1 year hands-on lab. No girlfriend.
3. I don't have home lab, but I definitely have my lab which can be
available for me to practice anytime, again and again.
4. My practice lab has 7 routers and one switch.
5. 1993-22 years old, I started to work on LAN network
1995-24 years old, first time knew Cisco and worked on router
1996-25 years old, I made a decision to work on CCIE
1997-26 years old, I started to work on WAN switching
2000-29 years old, I got my router and switching CCIE

Best Wishes, - Tony
