I recently attended a GeoTrain/ARG course in which there was a lab for doing
a back to back ATM connection. However, it seemed to be optional (as well
as trivial) and as I recall no one actually tried it! I might add that I've
had excellent instructors for all my GeoTrain/ARG courses.
