zhu,
I think if U use ip classless with existing config and redistribute RIP in
to OSPF it should work.Infact since U summarised route to /24 it become
contiguous at R1 and U should see thtat route in R1's routing table.
Hope this helped U

Subject: how to redistribute route to rip with different mask
Date: Thu, 6 Apr 2000 10:34:03 +0800
Hi,
Here is my network.
120.10.0.0/16 100.10.1.0/24 100.10.2.0/26 100.10.3.0/26
----------r1-----------------r2----------------r3-----------
RIP OSPF AREA0 OSPF AREA1
I want to user on network 120.10.0.0/16 could access network
100.10.2.0/26 and 100.10.3.0/26. So on r3 I configure "area 1 range
100.10.3.0 255.255.255.0". For the classful routing protocol like rip R2
couldn't inject route 100.10.2.0/26 into RIP directly from ospf.
Now 100.10.3.0/24 is in r1's routing table. How can't I let r1 know
network 100.10.2.0 with redistribute in r2?
Thanks.
Best regards
Zhu qingliu
