I find that it takes me about 30 mins to figure out the addressing. I write
down subnet bits (/30) on paper. Once I have the addressing, as I touch each
router, I set the addresses. As far as typing in /26, I don't think that
typing 255.255.255.192 takes all that much longer. For /26-/30 you should
have these pretty much memorized. You can use "ip net bit" to show you the
/26 etc. I use this just as a confirmation of what I have put in.
