Policy routing takes the place of the Frame map commands. This is a very
bizarre lab, and I pounded my head on it for a week. You need to set policy
routing to allow for a next hop address to all of the routers you are not
directly connected to. This is basically what Frame Map does, but instead of
layer 2 - 3 mapping, it sets the policy to forward everything to the hub
router. This lab is designed to test your knowledge of OSPF and policy
routing. Not a best case design! Also make sure you use local policy routing
too! (any OSPF packet generated by the router needs to be forwarded also)
Good Luck

Subject: Policy routing instead of Frame Relay map
Hi all,
I currently doing the lab exercise from the bootcamp.
I encounter some problem with the 1st lab exercise.
It said that 'for spoke and spoke in the frame relay network, do not use
frame map statement to map the two spoke so they can ping each other but use
policy routing'
HOW?
How do you use policy routing instead of frame relay mapping statement?
Thanks all.
