I believe all the practice labs in the US have reduced their
price to $250/day. Also, if you rent 4 days, the fifth one
is free. There are 6 of them now with another 3 about to
come up in the east.
The university practice labs generally do not have CCIE level
scenarios, so you should plan on bringing your own. They will
not evaluate your skills either and most do not have CCIEs
available to ask questions to.
I have seen too many people sign up for 4 or 5 days who get
exhausted the first few days. A two day visit is ideal. If
you are only going to rent one day, try to be well organized
so you can use the time effectively. You may also want to
call ahead and see if you can come in early or stay late.
They advertise an 8 hour day, but you can usually get 9
hours by coming in early, staying late or taking your lunch.
