Anything is fair game in troubleshooting, except physical damage.
I haven't run across any really good ATM prep stuff, other than hands-on
experience. (Uyless Black has authored a number of books on ATM, but they seem
too academic to me)
There is a new Cisco Press book out on VoIP. I was a technical reviewer for
it, and I think it's pretty good (although I haven't seen the final copy yet).
For more info see: http://www.ciscopress.com/catalog/titles/1686.html
It covers the following topics:
1. PSTN overview and Comparisons to Voice over IP
2. Enterprise Telephony Today
3. Basic Telephony Signaling (great reference material)
4. Signaling System 7
5. PSTN Services
6. Voice over IP Benefits and Applications
7. IP Tutorial (For those coming from the voice world)
8. VoIP: An In Depth Analysis
9. Quality of Service for VoIP
10. H.323
11. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
12. Gateway Control Protocols (SGCP/MGCP)
13. Virtual Switch Controller
14. Voice over IP Configuration Issues
15. Voice over IP Applications and Services

I also thought that the CVoice class was very useful.
I also have heard that Caslow was creating a new book, Cisco Routing Illustrate
d
: A Workshop for CCIEs and CCNPs. Has anyone seen any excerpts. Does it look
good?
